Originally called Limestone Plains, Canberra is built on numerous limestone caves. It is these caves which are the inspiration behind Limestone Café & Bar.
Our logo shows a textured rock formation, representative of the region’s rich history and unique soil,
with this texture implying the aesthetics of Limestone.
Perched as its peak in the Yellow Faced Honeyeater, signifying our focus on local and seasonal produce, as the Yellow Faced Honeyeater seeks out the best of our nation throughout the season. Native to the region, the Yellow Faced Honeyeater passes through Canberra Gardens in the spring and migrates along the east coast in Winter.
We have gathered together the best produce, from Griffith butcher, to local beers. We’re celebrating the excellence of the food of the region.
